Getting here
By car
- From the North (D, NL, B, GB,...) - TOLL-FREE ROUTE: from Munich take the A8 – to the A 93 towards Kufstein – turn off at Oberaudorf/Niederaudorf (A) – B 172 to Kössen – then continue on the B 178 – turn off at Erpfendorf to Waidring / PillerseeTal. Alternatively, from Kufstein take the A12 – turn off at Kufstein Süd (Felbertauern) – take the B173 to the B178n towards St. Johann in Tirol – turn off there on to the B164 to Fieberbrunn and Waidring / PillerseeTal.
- From the West/South (CH, I,...):
from Innsbruck (MOTORWAY TOLL STICKER REQUIRED) – turn off at Wörgl Ost – take the B178 to St. Johann in Tirol – turn off on to the B164 to Fieberbrunn/PillerseeTal or take the B178 to Waidring / PillerseeTal. - From the East:
from Salzburg on the A1 (MOTORWAY TOLL STICKER REQUIRED) – turn off at Salzburg West or Bad Reichenhall (A8) – B21 (D) to the B 178 (A), then via Lofer to Waidring / PillerseeTal.
By train
PillerseeTal has two railway stations, Fieberbrunn and Hochfilzen. For Waidring you are advised to take the train to St. Johann in Tirol.
